explores
the fundamentals of yoga and emphasizes
proper body mechanics in postures to develop balance, strength and
calmness by combining basic postures with a flow of movements.

| prenatal |
a
class for expectant mothers that combines
postures, breath and meditation to prepare to body for childbirth and
beyond. yoga is very helpful in reducing the aches and pains that often
accompany pregnancy. no yoga experience necessary.

| karma |
donation
only classes to support those who may not
otherwise have an opportunity to practice yoga, while giving back to
our community. proceeds from karma classes go to support
local
charities and are taught on a voluntary basis by our
instructors.

| svaroopa |
a
therapeutic style of yoga that uses basic poses
to open the muscles at the base of the spine, thereby relieving pain
and discomfort throughout the rest of the body. svaroopa yoga
has
proven to be very effective in alleviating symptoms to many common
neurological and orthopedic disorders.

experience of healing heat. Take your
practice to a new level, as the room is heated to 98 degrees to
increase flexibility, enhance fluidity in movement and detoxify the
body. bring a towel! some yoga experience

perfect balance of energetic and restorative postures. some basic yoga

separate
classes that include basic yoga exercise,
game playing and storytelling designed to make yoga fun! an
excellent way to develop balance, flexibility and focus, in a safe and
nurturing environment. buds ages 4-8. blossoms ages 9-12.

a
class to support the health and well being of
our future. teen fit is designed for teenagers to promote
physical strength, stamina, flexibility, enhance focus and
concentration and reduce stress for healthier, happier
living.
this class is ideal for teens new to exercise programs and for those
active in sports who want to reduce injuries and enhance performance.
no yoga experience necessary.

| kundalini |
this
ancient form of yoga involves asana,
(seat/pose), prana (life force/breath), mantra (mind projection/sound
vibration), mudra (hand position), bandha (body locks), and dhristi
(focus). said to have immediate effects, and known
as the yoga of awareness, kundalini yoga
is the uncoiling of the being. practicing kundalini
yoga keeps
the body in shape and trains the mind to be strong and flexible in the
face of stress and change. it increases oxygen capacity, boosts blood
flow, balances the glandular system, strengthens the nervous system,
and supports the skeletal and muscular systems. the
effect is
a heightened self-awareness and vitality that allows you to harness
mental, physical and emotional energy. individuals feel more in control
of themselves, with enhanced peace of mind, concentration, and a deep
inner calm, self-confidence and physical well being.

vigorous class designed to build strength,
endurance, shape the body, and relieve stress. power yoga has
found favor among numerous celebrities of late. this class
employs the use of fluid transitions and holds the postures for a
longer period of time, resulting in a strong cardiovascular workout
with an emphasis on the core, thighs and buttocks. experience
recommended.

the
art of moving meditation that provides both
mental and physical benefits. tai chi increases mental
acuity,
self confidence, increases flexibility, reduces stress, and improves
balance, coordination and self esteem. this is a unique class
that is popular with students of all ages. beginner and
advanced
classes available.
